DoppelgängeR compose, dance and sing music in the best traditions of old-school Gothic rock, or rather the Gothic rock, which just came out of post-punk and is not perceived separately from it. In fact, this is not gothic rock in its classical sense, and not the most related genre deathrock, and not one of the shades of post-punk. It's about all at once!

The band was formed in Moscow and it's about to turn 25! DoppelgangeR's discography includes nine full-length albums, and they went through fire, water and copper pipes. This is a band that has long become a clear marker of the Russian gothic scene. They are not just the most seasoned national team in this outline, but probably the most famous.
