ECHINOMETRA and Instrumental Electro

'Instrumental Electro' is an album written by a Russian electronic music artist Alexander Kosarev (ECHINOMETRA project) from Dmitrov. The album was written on a bet – one song per day. It seems like the bet was won because not only the digital version of the album was released on time, but it was also released on a few physical carriers as well. Moreover, the tracks from the album were played live and there was some merchandise too. By the way, the material itself is quite remarkable. There are ten broad-ranging but at same time representing certain genres tracks, which present us a nice combination of EBM, futurepop, cybergothic, dark electro … and something which has a name of industrial trance. The only thing that this album does not have is aggression and madness; it is more like a «fifty shades of detachment» concept, incorporated into the dance body. It is a thing for electro-freaks who like to dive into the subject, which means putting on a pair of blue neon glowing spiked welding goggles and doing gloomy moves in small clubs and country houses in all seriousness… because the age of all-round popularity of such music is gone. But it didn’t make this kind of music worse at all!
